
Basically this is going to be your new favorite dessert because it is the PERFECT dupe for a peanut butter cup but HEALTHY!
What you need:
8-10 Dates (pitted or you can pit them yourself)
1/2 a cup 100% pure cacao chocolate (unsweetened)
1 tablespoon Honey or maple syrup
1/4 cup Nut butter of your choice (I like the Teddie brand because it has no oils + its all natural)
A few pinches of salt (I use Celtic Sea Salt)
How to make:
If your dates are not pitted then pit them
While you are pitting the dates have a double boil going on the stove and melt that beautiful chocolate. Once the chocolate is about half way melted you are going to add the honey in there so sweeten up that chocolate a little
While your chocolate finishes melting down start adding your nut butter to the inside of your dates. Don’t worry about it looking perfect just get it in there.
Now you are going to add that chocolate right on top. While it is still wet add a little sea salt on top of the chocolate
Place in the fridge for at least an hour
