Sleep is so important for overall wellbeing and optimal health in order to prevent any sleep disruptions. Being healthy isn't about changing your patterns after you discover a negative - it's about already having positive measures in place to prevent any negative from occurring. That doesn't mean there won't be hardships or issues on the road to deal with. It just means there will be less and you will already have the ability to deal with them because you have the foundation to deal with them. Did you know your skin is your largest organ? It’s job is to protect us from microbes, the elements and regulate your body temperature. Supports in our vitamin D intake, and it’s constantly creating new skin cells. My skin journey really began when I was a teenager. It didn’t start because of acne, or cystic pimples or anything like that. My journey with my skin began after I found a strange birth mark on my stomach. I always had birth marks around my stomach but this one had become uneven around the edges. To be honest I never really paid any attention to my birth marks no matter how much people would say to. I loved being in the sun, I have that skin that would never burn and drank up the sunlight like water. Of course I also never wore sunscreen. I worked at a tanning salon as a teenager on top of it and my employee discount was used and abused. I found myself sitting for my first skin check at the dermatologist office and hearing her tell me that they have to send a sample off for testing. I was terrified. Fortunately the results were abnormal but not skin cancer. I was told I had to get my birth mark completely removed. I was a lucky one. I now have to get my skin checked every year - something I believe everyone should be doing. Now I take the utmost care with my skin. I barely go in the sun but if I do I always wear a clean sunscreen, I have a morning and nightly routine and see my esthetician once a month to keep my pores clear. If you have been thinking about getting your skin checked this is your sign to do it! And please wear your skin screen, seriously. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Now I focus on nourishing my body with real foods while also allowing myself things that I am craving. If your body is craving something then it means it is looking for a nutrient food in that food. If you are craving chocolate during your period it’s likely that your body is looking for the magnesium. If you are craving pasta it’s likely your body is looking for some carbs.
