Let’s not overcomplicate it — making healthy recipes can be simple + delicious! Here is a quick 30 minute recipe for you to give a try next time you want a quick lunch or simple dinner. Here is one of my favorite recipes to make in a pinch! I love the simplicity but the flavor impact that this Chili Soup has!

- What you need:
- 1 table spoon of olive oil
- 1 can of black eye peas
- 1 can of chickpeas
- 1 can of split peas (if you can find)
- Bone broth – I like Bonafide Provisions
- 1/4 a white onion
- 1/2 a stalk of celery
- 1-2 cloves of garlic
- Siete Seasoning Blend (I used the Mild Taco)
- 1/4 a Red onion (for garnish)
- Cilantro (to taste)
- salt (to taste)
- How to make:
- In a medium sauce pan heat your oil on medium heat
- Add your diced white onion + celery and cook down until translucent
- Add your garlic and cook for about 1 min or until fragrant
- Add your black eye peas, chickpeas, split peas and seasoning to your pot, combine and cook for about 2 -3 min
- Add your broth and 1/2 your cilantro (save the rest for garnish)
- Let sit for about 15 min on low eat too allow all flavors to combine
- Plate + add your red onion and cilantro on top.
- add salt if you want
- Enjoy!
